Magic Kids-Summer
Today was an especially hot day, and it really put me into a summery mood. This mood was elevated even higher when I heard ‘Summer’ by Magic Kids, a little taste from their debut album Memphis, which is due to hit stores on August 31. The string arrangements and orchestral sounds lay an intricate canvas for lead singer Bennett Foster to create imagery of seascapes and loves lost with lyrics that describe yearnings to disappear into the arms of college girls set free. And isn’t that what we all really want in the end?
