Mickey Mickey Rourke-MATILDA
I am just now starting to listen to Mickey Mickey Rourke, and I’m really happy that I got my hands on their Festive Bummer LP, which includes such awesome tracks as ‘COZE’ and ‘MATILDA’. ‘MATILDA’ is a low-fi dreamscape filled with sustained background noises and sporadic guitar slides coupled with smooth effects, all of which make this a perfect song to fall asleep to, or to simply use to slip away into your own imagination. ‘COZE’ is another tune accentuated with a number of different sound effects, ranging from chimes and smooth textures to rough and callous noises. Either way, MMR is going to take you on a journey with any track from Festive Bummer.
