Warm Waves-Summer Daydream

If pictures are truly worth a thousand words, the cover art for Warm Waves’ Lifted EP saves me a lot of writing. Sun-drenched and washed out, the picture matches the aesthetic of this EP in ways that I can’t compete with verbally. ‘Summer Daydream’ is a slow, mellow jam with lots of space that helps to create a light, floating feeling. ‘Feathers’ has an effected, ethereal guitar sound coupled with more traditional acoustic instruments and a more hurried, driving feeling. Warm Waves prove to be multi-talented and multi-dimensional, and I can’t wait for more from them.
